Haii Gusty~!!
Firstly, I’d like to say my friend Vera, gave me the SHOCK of my life when she told me you had surgery. That’s right, all she said at first was, “Gustav got surgery.  ” and of course, i started to freak out and say, “WHAT?!?! SURGERY?!?! OH MY GOD!!! IS HE OK?!?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?! WHY?!?! HOW?!?! WHEN?!?! VERA ANSWER ME ALREADY!!!!!  “
But after she told me you got your appendix removed and you’re fine, i was VERY relieved. Honestly though, what a bad way to start the year!
First i hear that my favorite drummer had appendix surgery, then, next thing I know, I get the worlds longest lasting cold and have to stay home for a WHOLE week….yes, one week without leaving my house, I’m going CRAZY!!!
Anyways! Even though we started the year with illnesses & having to visit scary doctors & unknown hospitals, I know 2009 will be a tough year for all of us, I can just tell, but I know we’ll all get through it, relieved and happy as ever! So take care of yourself & Bill, Tom and Georg for us!

We all love you here in Canada, miss you a lot and most of us REALLY want to get the chance to see and meet you!
So get better soon, work hard & know that no matter what happens, we’ll always be here supporting you, thinking of you and counting the days till we get the chance to see you again!
